PROTOCOLS
Protocols are the heart of our project, they act as tiered memberships NFTs to all RAGS drops. They allow access to every RAGS drop in perpetuity and they never burn. They also act as a resellers access pass, only protocol holders can purchase limited drops making protocol holders the only entry point for non members.

BYTES
Each RAGS product is linked to its own NFT. You’ll purchase your selected garment by minting the corresponding byte ( mint the “B.U.G Hoodie” Byte and activate to receive the physical B.U.G Hoodie). Each Byte has a state for each state of the product.
SEALED
The initial byte state that will be minted. A sealed package capable of resell on secondary during the drop timeframe OR activation redeeming the physical garment associated with it.
ACTIVE
The active byte state once a holder decides they would like to open their package and receive their physical item. You’ll be prompted to enter your checkout information and shipping address, your product will then be produced and shipped to you. Active Bytes act as a reward point in the RAGS ecosystem. They will be burnable for limited drops, cross community benefits, and more in the near future.
LOCKED
Schrodinger’s NFT, perpetually locked and akin to a sealed He-Man action figure or an unopened box of Jordans'. Sealed Bytes automatically Lock when the drop period ends and a holder hasn’t activated their Sealed Byte. Currently a pure collector item, but who knows what the future holds.

GENESIS BYTES
Genesis Bytes were a reward for early supporters. All active bytes act as rewards points in the RAGS ecosystem. In the future they will be used to purchase ultra limited drops, cross community benefits, and more.

PRODUCT RARITIES
Within each drop are different edition sizes of different products. These rarities are bracketed into 3 categories, each containing a different structure spanning drop sizes from /1 — /∞.
PROTOCOL RARITY
Members only tier, exclusive for true supporters. Gated by our Protocols these drops are limited to their respective tier’s maximum quantity, and with cascading access the maximum edition size is as follows:

OMEGA RARITY
Open edition, for the people. Omega items have no limit on the supply that can be minted, only limited by the drop window timeframe. Open edition products allow us to spread the good word of Soulbound streetwear at an affordable entry point.

ALPHA RARITY
Ultra rare items, where the big boiz play. The Alpha tier is for any edition size below /69, if there’s not enough to go around for the N.I.D.U.S members then we run an alpha edition. We will utilize auctions, giveaways and other more creative ways to get these into your closet.
DRP1 will have a /5 edition of our first Alpha design, we will be giving them out to participants of our DRP week festivities…
CHECKOUT FLOW
We’ve structured drops specifically to create a thriving primary and secondary markets, making drops highly accessible for members while fostering high demand for provably scarce fashion.
Drops on Rags.Cool function a bit differently than you’re used to.
MINTING
Once you’ve browsed the items and are ready to purchase, you’ll be redirected to our minting site. There you may connect your wallet and mint whichever Sealed Bytes you have access to (see above for product rarities)
ACTIVATE
With your freshly minted Sealed Byte(s) of course you can activate (redeem) them right away, if you’re looking to wear the gear yourself this is your path.
RESELL
If you’re looking to sell 1 or more of your Sealed Bytes to the general public, its yours to list on your market of choice. Bytes remain as ERC 1155 tokens no matter which of the 3 states they are in.
LOCK
If your Sealed Bytes don't sell on secondary, you will still able to activate them for a physical garment at any point in the drop window. If you don’t activate your Sealed Bytes by the end of the drop window they will automatically lock. Those bytes will remained locked forever and cannot be used to redeem a garment from their respective drop.
